Big Hit Entertainment and Source Music are now joining forces for a new girl group in 2021

They are holding large-scale global auditions!

Big Hit Entertainment, the company behind BTS and TXT and its recently-acquired subsidiary Source Music, which is home of the girl group GFRIEND, are now joining forces in order to form a new girl group set to debut in 2021.

The search for the next K-Pop stars, titled ‘Plus Global Audition’, is set to begin this October, with 16 cities as stops for its hunt for members of its next girl group.

Big Hit’s chief executive Bang Si-hyuk will be taking the lead, as well as in charge on overseeing production including music producing, while chief business officer Min Hee-jin will be in charge of leading the creative direction and branding of the new group.
