HallyuLife (founded 2017) [more info here] is a growing Korean entertainment-oriented website which welcomes thousands of readers and reaches millions of audiences every single month.

Our management team are experienced practitioners of the media industry, that are open on sharing their knowledge to everybody in the team that shows interest to learn. We are also working directly with event organizers, industry insiders, Korean companies and many more!

HallyuLife has been referenced locally and internationally on several minor and major media outlets, quoting our news and comments as well as our responsible unconventional brand of K-Pop journalism that we intend to deliver.

HallyuLife is now accepting worldwide applicants for the following positions:

Global Photographers


HallyuLife is looking for global volunteer photographers who can attend K-Pop concerts and idol fan-meetings in their area, making you our official and exclusive photographer.

How does it work?

Utilizing our connections with various entertainment agencies and media, we receive and/or request invitations to attend concerts and fan-meetings around the world. Upon the confirmation of press pass for our outlet on such events, we can simply provide it to you and you can be our representative for the said event.

In return, all you have to do is to take great photos, provide it exclusively for the use of HallyuLife and you’re all set. The best perk that we can offer is that you will be able to witness K-Pop idols perform at prime locations and usually for FREE!

However, since it is a volunteer work position, the work will be unpaid.

 

Writers


HallyuLife is also looking to expand its writing team, and is now opening positions for:

Contributing Writer*

As a contributing writer, you will write about anything Hallyu as you want as well as given the chance to cover events in your area and write about them on HallyuLife.

How does it work?

Utilizing our connections with various entertainment agencies and media, we receive and/or request invitations to attend concerts and fan-meetings around the world. Upon the confirmation of press pass for our outlet on such events, we can simply provide it to you and you can be our representative for the said event.

In return, all you have to do is to watch the event and observe carefully, write about it prior and after the event provided it was exclusively for the use of HallyuLife and you’re all set. The best perk that we can offer is that you will be able to witness K-Pop idols perform at prime locations and usually for FREE!

However, since it is a volunteer work position, the work will be unpaid.


K-Pop and K-Drama News Writer**

As a K-Pop/K-Drama news writer, you’ll be tasked to write real-time K-Pop/K-Drama news as they break out of the dungeon in Korea. You’ll spend most of your time reading news articles from Korean websites and/or translating them into readable elements for non-Korean people (in simple words, English).

Ability to deliver relevant news in a journalistic manner is a must and applicants should demonstrate strong ability to write in a tone similar to HallyuLife.

Features Writer**

As a Features Writer, you will be tasked to write HallyuLife features such as #HallyuLifeAnswers, #HallyuLifePresents and many more.

Applicants need to demonstrate their ability by writing a sample HallyuLife Feature for either HallyuLife Answers or HallyuLife Presents, and should be creatively able to completely deliver all details required on time.

Editorial Writer**

As an Editorial writer, you’ll be tasked to write stories that make a difference. You’ll be writing editorial content that will focus on strong issues and controversies, as well as opinions that you’ll think would matter to the industry.

Ability to deliver thought-provoking stories and passionately delivering opinionated content is what matters for this position.

*Contributing writer positions are voluntary positions and are not monetarily paid at all.

**These writer positions will be paid monetarily according to a rate agreed upon acceptance. However, those who are highly committed and qualified writers might be offered competitive/proper employment renumeration & compensation plan accordingly.

 

Business


HallyuLife is growing, and we know that in order to grow more, we need more people to take part in our operations. We are currently in the hunt for:

Business Development Officer**

As HallyuLife’s business development officer, you’ll be tasked to identify and create new relationships with clients and contacts, as well as the responsibility to maintain and building good relationships with them.

Primarily, you’ll be tasked to facilitate and take care of in-going and outgoing business proposals made by and for HallyuLife, including media partnership and coverage proposals, sales and the like, which in return would result to more business opportunities.

**this position is paid and candidates must have an experience of at least 1-2 years in the field.
