One of the most notable stages came from the collaboration of five monster rookies: NewJeans, LE SSEAFIM, NMIXX, Kep1er, and IVE. It’s a collab to remember as they all came together and split up into special units to cover each other’s debut songs. Here’s why this is a collaboration to remember:

Another notable stage on the first day was the return of the legendary girl group KARA. They reunited at the MAMA stage to give you nostalgia with a medley of their smash hits including their much-awaited comeback with “WHEN I MOVE”.

The night ended with a great stage performance from Stray Kids as they perform the MAMA version of “Venom” and “Maniac”.

Chapter 2

Chapter 2 gave us more performances and collaboration stages from BTS’s J-Hope, ITZY, ENHYPEN, (G)I-DLE, IVE, TREASURE, NewJeans, Zico, NiziU, Im Young Woong, INI, TEMPEST, Jung Jae Il, Tiger JK, 3RACHA (Stray Kids’ Bang Chan, Changbin, Han), “Street Man Fighter,” and Jaurim.

One of the main highlights of the night came from (G)I-DLE with their performances of “My Bag” (which also showed the strong rap skills of Jeon Soyeon) and “TOMBOY” with Jaurim as part of their collaboration stage. Jaurim also performed “Twenty Five, Twenty One” and “Boxing Helena” with (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon and Minnie:

Can’t get enough of this viral track from Street Man Fighter and Zico? Watch this performance from the MAMA stage!

Also, IVE’s stage performance with not one, not two, but all three of their title tracks since their debut a year ago including the SONG OF THE YEAR, “LOVE DIVE”.

And last but not the least, the performance of the MOST POPULAR MALE ARTIST and member of the MAMA Platinum awardee BTS in this year’s MAMA Awards, none other than j-hope!
