The group will also go on self-quarantine for two weeks

(UPDATED) Korean pop girl group EVERGLOW will undergo self-quarantine for two weeks, also cancelling their schedules as two of their agency’s staff tested positive and was diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, as a precautionary measure.

On a statement sent to press in April 3, Yuehua Entertainment said that while EVERGLOW were all tested and their results came back negative, their schedules are all cancelled for safety, as well as in adherence to the prevention guidelines and procedures set by the government.

Yuehua Entertainment added that other staff members are also currently being tested and are waiting for their results.

The agency stressed that they are doing their best to safeguard the welfare of its staff and artists.

EVERGLOW recently released their first extended play ‘reminiscence’, with its title track ‘DUN DUN’.

An earlier version of this article first indicated that only one staff of EVERGLOW has tested positive for the virus.
