Jang Ki Yong, a well-known South Korean actor captivated his fans during the “Jang Ki Yong ‘Beautiful Day’ in Manila” fan meeting at Samsung Hall, SM Aura in Taguig last September 28, 2024. During the event, Jang Ki Yong greeted his fans and said, “I miss you, Philippines, it’s been five years, and we’re all finally meeting each other again,” resonating with the audience’s anticipation.
In one segment, he took fans on a nostalgic journey through his past projects and personal milestones. This memory lane included highlights from his first fan meeting in Manila in November 2019, his role in “My Roommate Is a Gumiho” in May 2021, and reflections on his military enlistment in September 2022. He humorously recalled a question about his favorite scene, saying, “I just asked one question—what’s your favorite scene? And you’re all about the kissing scenes! But yeah, I like all the kissing scenes as well.”
The segment also include his participation in the drama “Now We Are Breaking Up” in November 2021 and his experiences in the musical “Helmet: A Song of Meissa” from March to August 2022. When asked if there was something new he wanted to try, Jang Ki Yong candidly shared, “I think dancing is good, but it’s not for me. I will try to do my best.”
