JYP Entertainment‘s new boy band ‘Xdinary Heroes‘ greets fans with a heavy metal-rock music debut with ‘Happy Death Day‘.
The 6-member boy band is composed of Gun-il, the drummer; Jungsu, the keyboardist; Gaon, the electric guitarist; O.de, the synthesizer; Jun Han, the electric guitarist; and Jooyeon, the bassist.
Their group name is an abbreviation for ‘Extraordinary Heroes’, which connects to their slogan ‘WE ARE ALL HEROES’. They are the second boy band from their company label, following DAY6 who debuted in 2015.
Their debut single ‘Happy Death Day‘ is a heavy metal rock music complimented with a dark-themed party music video. JYPE described it as “the cold truth facing the day that should be celebrated,” with a fresh expression mixed with a dark musical color.
