Kim Yoo Jung from ‘Backstreet Rookie’ and Ahn Hyo Seop from ‘Dr. Romantic Kim 2’ will be teaming up in the SBS upcoming drama ‘Hong Chun Gi’.’
Based on the bestselling novel of the same name, ‘Hong Chun Gi’ will be a fantasy-romance drama starring Kim Yoo Jung who takes the role of ‘Hong Chun Gi’, a Joseon dynasty painter who was born blind but gains vision miraculously. While Ahn Hyo Seop is a blind astrologer who is able to read the stars despite his loss of sight.
The author of the said novel is also the man behind the novels ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ and ‘The Moon Embracing the Sun’ who have been adapted and turned into hit Korean dramas.

Kim Yoo Jung recently starred in the hit rom-com drama ‘Backstreet Rookie’ as ‘Jung Saet Byul’ while Ahn Hyo Seop recently starred in the hit medical drama ‘Dr. Romantic Kim 2’ as ‘Seo Woo Jin’. The upcoming drama ‘Hong Chun Gi’ will be airing in 2021.
