The New Frontier Theater in Manila buzzed with excitement on April 5 for a special night – the last stop of Super Junior Kyuhyun’s 10th anniversary solo tour “Colors”. Filipino KYUpiters and ELFs filled the venue, ready to shower their beloved “Ballad Prince” with love.

This concert wasn’t just another stop; it was a meaningful tour for Philippine KYUpiters and ELFs, and Kyuhyun made sure it was one to remember. He treated fans to his signature heartfelt ballads, the kind that let his amazing voice truly shine. His songs filled the theater with emotion, and you could feel the audience connecting with every word he sang. He also performed some of his well-loved K-drama OSTs, including the catchy “Confession is Not Flashy,” which brought a different kind of energy to the room.

But the fun didn’t stop there. Filipino singer Moira Dela Torre joined Kyuhyun on stage, creating a truly special moment. Together, they sang a beautiful rendition of Kyuhyun’s own “A Million Pieces”, and as a treat for the Filipino fans, they also sang Moira’s hit song “Paubaya”.

Showing his genuine love for his fans, Kyuhyun didn’t just stay on stage. He went down to get closer to everyone, even making his way to the second floor of the theater to be up close with the fans there. This thoughtful gesture touched many hearts and showed how much he appreciates their support.

The love went both ways. While waiting for Kyuhyun’s encore performance, the theater echoed with the voices of KYUpiters and ELFs singing “At Gwanghwamun” together.

It was clear that Kyuhyun’s appeal spans generations. Before even entering the venue, a heartwarming scene unfolded as a 75-year-old fan asked me to take a picture of her with Kyuhyun’s photo frame, her excitement as bright as any young fan’s. This showed just how much his music and presence mean to people of all ages.
