Mnet confirms that the show ‘Kingdom’ will not air this 2020

Mnet has prepared programs like ‘I-LAND Part 2’, new show ‘CAP-TEEN’, and ‘Show Me the Money 9’.

Mnet confirms that the show ‘Kingdom‘ will not air this year after the success of ‘Road to Kingdom‘.

Media outlet Daily Sports News reports that Mnet’s show ‘Kingdom’ will not be airing this year. A source from Mnet tells media outlet Hankook Ilbo a statement regarding the show’s fate. It states:

It was a shame that we could only record ‘Road to Kingdom’ without an audience due to the prolongation of COVID-19. The producers are having discussions about showcasing ‘Kingdom’ with a different structure, and unfortunately, the show will no longer be part of this year’s lineup. In the second half of the year, we have ‘I-LAND‘ Part 2, ‘CAP-TEEN,’ and ‘Show Me the Money 9‘ prepared. Please show lots of interest (in these shows).

A source from Mnet also mentions the prepared follow-up program for the ongoing program ‘I-LAND, new show ‘CAP-TEEN‘, and the ninth season of ‘Show Me the Money‘.

Kingdom’s prequel program ‘Road to Kingdom’ is a competition show between 7 boy groups. The winner will be going to the next level of competition in the ‘Kingdom’. The seven participating groups were Golden Child, ONEUS, ONF, PENTAGON, TOO, VERIVERY, and the show’s winner The Boyz. –HallyuLife.com
