MANILA – Cookie sandwich brand OREO has officially unveiled its “OREO x BLACKPINK” collaboration across the Philippines on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City.
Drawing inspiration from the K-pop girl group’s first full studio album “THE ALBUM”, the OREO cookie is donning the symbolic crown of BLACKPINK.
All OREO cookies in its regular flavors (Vanilla, Chocolate, and more) will feature the chic limited-edition packaging, and BLINKs will also enjoy two iconic BLACKPINK-inspired flavors born out of this collaboration – “Black” version featuring OREO’s original black OREO cookie with pink strawberry filling and “Pink” version featuring a pink OREO cookie with dark chocolate cream filling.
There is also limited edition BLACKPINK memorabilia up for grabs, such as the regular OREO packs that feature the four members’ autographs, presented at random on the front of each OREO x BLACKPINK packaging, as well as ten (10) collectible BLACKPINK photo cards from OREO Multipacks of 9s and 6s, which will feature two of each BLACKPINK member and two group photos.

Buyers can also get a personalized video message from BLACKPINK with a purchase of any special edition packs by scanning the QR codes on regular OREO packs or by visiting the website www.OREOBLACKPINK.com, sign up for an account and scan the barcode of special edition packs to receive free mobile wallpapers and personalized video message. Eight videos are set to be collected, two from each BLACKPINK member.
At the launch event, some of Manila’s influencers were invited, as well as OREO’s brand ambassadors such as artists Sheena Halili, Sharlene San Pedro, Richard Juan, Mimiyuuuh, Arshie Larga, Pamela Swing, and Big Boy Blink Migs.
Fans (or BLINKs) were also able to interact with the booths set up after the media event.
The collaboration line of OREO x BLACKPINK will be exclusively sold in Asian markets, such as the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and South Korea.
