PH EXO-Ls, Sommungchis, and I.Ds are in for a treat this June as three hot K-pop acts from multiple genres, namely Baekhyun, Jeon Somi, and B.I. will give you a night of breathtaking performances at the OVERPASS: K-pop Music Concert on June 11, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum!
Baekhyun (or Byun Baekhyun) is the main vocalist of EXO who returned to the scene this February after his 2-year mandatory military service, with him recently appearing at different music festivals. A multi-talented artist, Baekhyun is one of the busiest artists in K-Pop. Apart from EXO and its sub-units, he has also ventured into other acts such as joining the supergroup SuperM, debuting as an actor in “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” and finding massive success as a soloist. In fact, Baekhyun is the first artist since 2001 to achieve a million sales for his EP “Delight” and he then went on to receive his second million-seller with “Bambi.” Baekhyun also earned the most “Best Male Artist” trophies after winning 3 years in a row at Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) history, a prestigious music awards show in South Korea.
Now, he is ready to come back to the Philippine stage to perform his own hits like “UN Village (2019)”, “Candy (2020)”, and “Bambi (2021)” (and hopefully EXO tracks, too) LIVE in front of all the PH EXO-Ls waiting for his return.
Jeon Somi, a solo artist and former member of Produce 101-formed project girl group I.O.I. She is known for her viral hit tracks “DUMB DUMB” and “Birthday”, both of which will surely make you dance to the beat of her songs. Fun fact, her song such as “What You Waiting For”, “XOXO”, and “DUMB DUMB” were all featured on the Netflix rom-com series “XO, Kitty”. PH Sommungchis are now excited to finally see her in person as it is her first visit to the Philippines and are looking forward to her show-stopping performances and charming visuals.
Kim Hanbin or well-known by his stage name B.I., is coming for the third time to Manila for a solo visit after his recent concert last March. PH I.Ds attending the OVERPASS Concert might be the lucky ones to hear him perform his upcoming title track “Dare to Love” from his upcoming second studio album “To Die For”, which will be released on June 1.
Known for his hip-hop tracks “BTBT”, “ilia ilia”, “TTM”, and “COSMOS”, he is ready to return to Manila once again to give you more awesome stages that will keep your energy ALIVE!
