MANILA – Just after her recent visit to the Philippines last October 21 at the POPstival 2022, Park Bom returned here and gave her fans a meaningful and intimate ‘YOU&I’ fan concert last Saturday, June 10, at the New Frontier Theater. Filipino BOMSHELLS and BLACKJACKS got to witness her powerful performances and listen to her solo tracks, as well as some tracks from her former group, 2NE1 – and we’re here to tell you what happened that night.
Around 7:20 PM local time, Park Bom got the whole theater dancing as she performed one of the 2NE1’s hit tracks “FIRE” followed by her solo songs “Spring” and “4:44”. BOMSHELLS gave Park Bom a royal welcome with cheers as she sits on a very special throne for the vocal queen. According to Park Bom, the Philippines has a special place in her heart as it is her second home. When asked who are her musical inspirations, she answered, “Mariah Carey and of course, Dara”, which got everyone in awe.

Lucky Filipino BOMSHELLS and BLACKJACKS got to play games such as dance challenge, song challenge, and quiz challenge where Park Bom herself, interacts with her fans and got surprised by how dedicated they are. Park Bom even danced to a hit Filipino dance craze “Paro Paro G” with the luckiest fans of the night and they even got a Polaroid photo with her.

Park Bom also performed her solo tracks such as “My Lover”, “Do Re Mi Fa Sol”, “Shameful”, and her hit 2011 digital single “Please Don’t Cry”, which brought out the nostalgic feels to the crowd present that night.
Just after Park Bom got a group picture with her fans, her smile turned into tears of joy as she watched a surprise video containing her performances as a member of 2NE1 as well as her photos with her former 2NE1 members. Park Bom can’t contain her happiness as she tells everyone:

Before the night ended, Park Bom sang her 14-year-old solo debut track “YOU&I”, which is also the title of her fan concert. She thanked her Filipino fans for the undying love and support she receives. She also promised her Filipino BOMSHELLS and BLACKJACKS that she will be returning to the Philippines real soon, or with her 2NE1 members, if possible. Park Bom’s 1st fan concert ended with a nostalgic encore performance of 2NE1’s “Lonely”, where the whole theater sang along with her.

‘Nostalgia’ and ‘happiness’ are two of the words that were felt by all the Filipino BOMSHELLS and BLACKJACKS that night.
