Yesung also showed his unfading sense of humor all throughout his concert in Manila!

MANILA Just months after his last visit with his Super Junior members, Yesung graced the year 2024 with his Philippine E.L.F.s and CLOUDs during his ‘unfading sense’ solo concert at the New Frontier Theater last January 6, and this truly proves a strong bond between Yesung and his fans before heading to Macau for his last stop of the tour.

Promoting and celebrating his 5th mini album, the Super Junior member truly showed his ‘unfading sense’ of honesty and humor that made everyone loved him even more – and we’re here to tell you why.

The New Frontier Theater was filled with cheers from the sea of blue crowd as Yesung began his solo concert in Manila with “Scented Things“, “Fornever“, and “Silhouette” which are from his 5th mini album. Yesung singing with a live band makes his song performances even more special for his fans

Yesung also performed his well-known tracks from his previous albums such as “Floral Sense“, “Beautiful“, “No More Love“, “Butterfly“, “Moment” and one of the crowd favorite “It Has To Be You” from the official soundtrack of Cinderella’s Sister, which was released in 2010.

Every ment of Yesung all throughout the concert felt like a heart-to-heart talk between him and his Philippine E.L.F.s and CLOUDs that showed his truest self. His setlist contains songs where according to him, “I prefer happy and rhythmical songs, ones that make me excited, than mellow and sad ones“.

Revealing that he has a bad eyesight, it did not stop Yesung from wearing eyeglasses on the next parts of his concert to see his fans better and up close. He also shared his sincerest thoughts and realizations, one of which is:

Every time I come to other countries, there are some Korean jokes you guys don’t get, and then I realized, I hope I can speak Tagalog. How I wish there’s only one language in the world… It’s a bit frustrating, isn’t it?

Another bubbly observation that Yesung have noticed from the crowd as he makes eye contact with his fans was, “You’re not looking at my eyes, you’re just looking at your phones… How can I make eye contact with you, all of you are busy taking videos?

According to Yesung, among the countries he has visited with his Super Junior members, Philippines is one their favorite destinations and he hopes that he has a chance to see his Philippine E.L.F.s and CLOUDs once again this 2024, and he even persuaded his fans to see them all in another Super Show. This remark from him was followed by the crowd chanting “SS10!” or Super Show 10, which is the group’s world tour series.

He continued singing soulfully on stage with “Bear Hug“, “Corazon Perdido“, “Like Us“, “Small Things“, “Slide Away“, and “Together“, which the song is dedicated to his pets that gives him love and comfort. He shared that his pets is aging, but for him they look like his lovely and adorable puppies. As much as we loved him ever since the day we first met Yesung, he made us go in awe as he said, “You’re still that E.L.F who I fell in love with back then.

His fans prepared a short clip showing his photocards, and the blue Super Junior lightstick roaming around the Philippines. From places like Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao to Magellan’s Cross in Cebu, this made Yesung say, “There’s a lot of beautiful places in the Philippines.

But little did the E.L.F.s and CLOUDs know that according to him:

This tour was possible because of your support. Having a concert tour alone in different cities and countries, is really something that I have dreamt of doing for a long time.

Super Junior member and solo artist Yesung ended his first solo concert in Manila with “I Am”, showing that he is still the Yesung that everyone loves throughout the years. He even thanked his Philippine E.L.F.s and CLOUDs through his official X/Twitter account.

Yesung’s first intimate solo concert in Manila shows a side of him that we don’t usually see when he is with his group but the E.L.F.s and CLOUDs showed a big and warm love and support for him like it’s 2005. Truly, a dream come true for Yesung and moments that will always be cherished by him and his fans. -HallyuLife.com
