tvN launches tvN Premium and tvN Movies Pinoy in the Philippines with Cignal TV, bringing awesome Korean shows and movies to Filipinos

Now you can watch Korean movies in Filipino with tvN Movies Pinoy and Korean dramas and shows with tvN Premium!

Get ready to be more immersed in the world of Hallyu as tvN in partnership with Cignal TV, the country’s leading pay-TV provider launches two linear TV channels tvN Premium and tvN Movies Pinoy.

tvN Movies Pinoy launched in the Philippines last November 1, 2023.

tvN Movies Pinoy is a Tagalog-dubbed channel that brings the vibrant world of Korean films to Filipino audiences in their own language. tvN Premium, on the other hand, features the latest Korean dramas and shows in high definition (HD).

Cignal TV subscribers can watch tvN Movies  Pinoy on channel 39, while tvN Premium (replacing tvN Asia) is available on channel 237. You can also watch tvN Movies Pinoy via Video-on-Demand (VOD) through Cignal TV’s streaming platform, Cignal Play.

tvN Movies Pinoy

The movie channel tvN Movies Pinoy is packed with various movie genres. It offers Filipino audiences movies featuring their favorite Korean stars including Hyun-Bin, Son Ye-Jin, D.O., Don Lee, Lee Byung-Hun, and more. From thrilling romantic dramas to action-packed hits and heartwarming comedies, tvN Movies Pinoy caters to Filipino viewers’ diverse tastes and preferences.

They can expect to watch the latest Korean films of 2023, including the inspirational sports movie “Countdown”, starring veteran actor Jin Sun-Kyu; and the 2020 comedy film “Honest Candidate” starring Ra Mi-Ran.

Catch the latest Korean films of 2023 premiering on tvN Movies Pinoy:

  •  “My Puppy” (Drama/Comedy)  – starring Cha Tae-Hyun and Yoo Yeon-Seok
  •  “Countdown” (Drama) – starring veteran actor Jin Sun-Kyu
  •  “My Worst Neighbor” (Romance/Comedy) – starring Lee Ji-Hoon and Han Seung-Yeon
  •  “The Glorious My Revenge” (Drama/Thriller) – starring Heo Jun-Seok and Nam Bo-ra

Just four months after its theatrical release in Korea and the Philippines, viewers can also watch “The Moon” in December. The action-thriller film features superstar and EXO member D.O. (Doh Kyung-Soo) as he plays the role of Hwang Sun-woo, an astronaut who attempts to land on the moon. Pinoy fans can also enjoy the comedy film “Switch”, starring A-list Korean actors Kwon Sang-Woo and Lee Min-Jung. They portray the characters of a top star and a commoner who will be switching their identities.

Viewers can also catch “The Moon” in December, an action thriller featuring superstar D.O. (EXO) where he plays an astronaut who attempts to land on the moon.

tvN Premium

Formerly known as tvn Asia, tvN Premium features the latest Korean dramas such as “Not Others”, based on a webtoon of the same title, is a comedy-drama series showing the story of a love-hate relationship between a mother and a daughter. Starring Jeon Hye-Jin and Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung, the series will be airing from November 8 onwards.
