What we know so far: Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2023 in the Philippines

It marks the first time the Philippines will host such an event!

Filipino Hallyu fans! Brace yourselves as the prestigious Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2023 is taking place in the Philippines on December 14 at the Philippine Arena, currently the world’s largest indoor arena, joined by the star-studded lineup of K-pop idols and K-drama stars to dazzle audiences in the heart of Bulacan.

Considered one of the Oscars and Grammy awards of Asia, the distinguished South Korean award-giving institution has consistently celebrated the best the region has to offer in terms of film, music, television, and digital content — and this year, it aims to be “the grandest and most talked about season of Asia Artist Awards since its inception”, and the Philippines as the “loudest, warmest, and biggest fan base in K-Culture”, according to Philippine concert promoter PULP Live World.

Another set of artists is unveiled to attend the 2023 AAA: SEVENTEEN BSS, Kingdom, LUN8, ATBO, ONEUS, the all-Filipino group HORI7ON, as well as P-pop group SB19

More actors were added to the list of star-studded acts to attend the Asia Artist Awards 2023: Lee Jun Ho, Jung Sung Il, Kim Young Dae, Lee Jun Young, Moon Sang Min, Yoo Seon Ho, Ahn Dong Goo, and Park Jae Chan


September 14

More artists and K-pop acts were revealed to attend the Asia Artist Awards 2023: Kim Jae Joong, Dindin, Lee Youngji, Dreamcatcher, KARD, Ash Island, YAOCHEN, STAYC, Kep1er, TEMPEST, and Lapillus.

September 13

The second set of actors attending the prestigious Asia Artist Awards this year has been announced: Lee Donghwi, Lee Junhyuk, Cha Jooyoung, and Lee Eunsam.


September 12

The second set of K-pop idols to attend the AAA 2023 were announced: Stray Kids, THE BOYZ, ITZY, Kwon Eunbi, and &TEAM.


September 11

Korean actors Kim Seon Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Sejeong, and Moon Gayoung are announced as the first set of actors attending the AAA. On the same day, Happee Sy of PULP Live World also announced that the ticketing for Asia Artist Awards 2023 would be on November 12.

K-pop idols Jang Wonyoung of IVE, Kang Daniel, and Sung Hanbin of ZEROBASEONE were announced as this year’s emcees at the ASIA ARTIST AWARDS (AAA).


September 2

The first set of artists to attend was announced: BOYNEXTDOOR, LE SSERAFIM, NEWJEANS, NMIXX, and ZEROBASEONE (ZB1).


August 30

StarNews Korea first announced the ASIA ARTIST AWARDS (AAA) 2023 that the Philippines will take center stage as it hosts the prestigious award ceremony, and also confirmed the venue at the Philippine Arena.


The 2023 ASIA ARTIST AWARDS (AAA) is co-hosted by StarNews Korea, the Asia Artist Awards Organizing Committee, TONZ Entertainment, and Philippine concert promoter PULP Live World.
