On December 30, the 2020 MBC Drama Awards recognized the biggest dramas and stars that aired through the network in 2020.
The 2020 MBC Drama Awards was hosted by Kim Sung Joo at the MBC Public Hall. The grand winner of the night was Park Hae Jin who took home the Daesang (Grand Prize) for his role in the MBC drama ‘Kkondae Intern’, which also took home the Drama of the Year Award.
Park Hae Jin thanked his family and agency staff and said:
I’m not sure if it’s okay for me to receive this award. It’s the Daesang, and I feel a weight on my shoulders. This was my first project with MBC since I received the Best New Actor award 12 years ago in 2008. Thank you for this great award.
He also thanked the co-stars, writers, and director of the drama as he enjoys filming ‘Kkondae Intern’. He also dedicates his award to his senior intern Kim Eung Soo. This is his first Daesang since his debut in 2006.
