YG Entertainment confirmed to debut new girl group in 2020

They will introduce its members to the public within the second half of this year.

YG Entertainment confirmed the earlier reports that they are planning to debut a new girl group in the second half of 2020.

According to the report, they are in the final process of preparations for the new girl group, and will introduce its members to the public within the second half of this year.

A rep from YG Entertainment stated that, “It is true that we are planning to debut a new girl group. The exact details will be revealed through an official press release later on.” The rep then added, “We are currently focusing on new album preparations for BLACKPINK and WINNER.”

In case this pushes through, this group is YG’s first girl group in four years since BLACKPINK’s debut in 2016.

Last January, YG Entertainment reportedly trademarked the names ‘Baby Monsters,’ and ‘BaeMon’, which could give a hint with regards to the upcoming group name. -HallyuLife.com
