K-pop artist Soyou, a former member of the girl group SISTAR, will be coming to Manila once again this September for Korea Tourism Organization’s (KTO) “Korea Travel Fair” this September 10-11 at the Glorietta Activity Center & Palm Drive Activity Center in Makati.

As the Manila KTO is celebrating its 10th year milestone of operating here, it plans to hold the two-day 2022 Korea Festival along with a travel fair in order to encourage Filipinos to experience Korea without leaving the Philippines – which should ultimately encourage them to visit the country afterward. The event will be a partnership between the Korean Embassy in the Philippines, KTO, and the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) here.

Soyou, as part of the event’s special guests, will be gracing the fans on September 11th, according to KTO, along with other talented Korean painters and P-Pop acts. Admission is FREE for the said event and seats are on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 2022 Korea Festival is expected to highlight various aspects of Korean culture, from historical and traditional activities to food, travel, and even modern activities which tourists would expect to do when visiting Korea. There will be also musical performances, travel quizzes, talk shows, fun games, and more.

KTO also partnered with some airlines and local travel agencies to offer special fares and tour packages for the attendees of the Korea Travel Fair, and as a bonus, visitors who will purchase will be able to redeem special gifts from the organization.

South Korea recently opened its doors to Filipino tourists on June 1, after years of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. -HallyuLife.com
