BLACKPINK to officially comeback in June – report

The company is still on the final stage of shooting the music video, which is expected to be finished this month.

Korean news outlet Star News reported on May 4 that BLACKPINK is finally coming back with a new music this June, after a series of delayed comebacks.

According to the report, the comeback is expected to take place between early June and mid-June. While the recording of the new songs are already completed, the company is still on the final stage of shooting the music video, which is expected to be finished this month.

YG Entertainment confirmed on a statement the same day that the quartet would be returning this June, saying “BLACKPINK is set to have a comeback this June. We will tell the fans when the comeback date is officially set.

BLACKPINK’s once-a-year comeback cycle is currently bashed by fans for being too long, as many demand for the group to be treated well, wanting more frequent music and album releases and more promotions for the group. The last title song the group had released in April 2019 was ‘Kill This Love’ from their mini-album of the same name. -HallyuLife.com
