JYP Entertainment officially released its statement regarding TWICE Jeongyeon’s health condition on their upcoming ‘Beyond Live – TWICE: World In A Day’ online concert.

“Hello. This is JYP Entertainment.

During this online concert, Beyond LIVE-TWICE: World in A Day, Jeong Yeon is forced to sit on a chair and participate in the performance due to her medical condition.

In spite of the difficult situation, we ask for your patience as we decided to make this decision based on the feelings of the members themselves who want to meet the fans after a long time.

We will do our best to recover quickly.

Thank you.”

Fans speculate that it is because of her neck injury which she got during their ‘More & More’ MV shoot.

Jeongyeon said on one of her VLIVEs that she was diagnosed with herniated disk in her neck. This was after the fans noticed that during their promotion for their latest track, she is the only member with no individual fancams.

TWICE’s online concert is scheduled on August 9th 3PM KST.
