Kang Daniel comes back with a brand new mini-album ‘CYAN’ after temporary hiatus

After seeking help for his mental health, Kang Daniel is back with new songs in his album

After a few months since his announcement of temporary hiatus, Kang Daniel comes back into the music scene with a brand new mini-album ‘Cyan’.

It was reported December last year that the singer would be taking a break to seek treatment for depression and panic disorder, after the numerous rumors and issues he encountered including legal dispute with his former label company and his dating admission with girl group TWICE’s leader Jihyo.

But on March 21st, Mnet released a teaser of a show ‘Kang Daniel Comeback Show – CYAN’ through their official YouTube channel, and on the 24th, Daniel released the music video of his album’s main track, ‘2U’ on his company KONNECT Entertainment’s official YouTube channel.

Following the release of his MV, Mnet also posted Kang Daniel’s performances of his other songs included in his album.

He also shared his thoughts in making the album and coming back which he said was something refreshing.

“I feel like I’m starting fresh. I feel nervous and also excited.”

Meanwhile, his album already sold to 100,028 copies on its first day according to Hanteo.
